What the Sacramento Gospel Conference is About

The Sacramento Gospel Conference (SGC) has grown from a monthly fellowship of pastors, elders, and church officers representing from churches in the Sacramento area. Our fellowship is committed to strengthening church leaders in the following five commitments:

• The Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ

• The Centrality of the local church in God’s purposes & the Christian Life

• Expositional preaching of the Bible as the steady diet of a church

• The shepherding of the souls of Christ’s people as those who will give an account

• The glory of God as the motivation for faithfulness in pastoral ministry.

From our fellowship, we launched the Sacramento Gospel Conference in 2015 with a three-fold aim: to encourage the congregations in our local fellowship, to make our fellowship of churches more “visible” in our area, and to reach out to other Christians and churches to encourage them in faithfulness to God’s Word.
