Thank you for registering for the 2023 City Bible Church Men’s Retreat. This year’s theme is “Spiritual Warfare: Engaged in a Cosmic Battle” and our guest speaker is Andrei Sava from Trinity Community Church in Clovis, CA. The retreat takes place on Thursday, January 26 from 3 pm through Saturday, January 28, 11 am.

This page contains all of the information you need to be prepared for our time together, so please be sure to read it completely. If you have any questions please reach out directly to Andrey Chepurnoy (916) 224-7221. If you have a sudden change in plans for attendance, please let us know as soon as possible so that we don’t send out a search party when you don’t arrive. Please review your registration type and pay any balance due prior to arriving at the retreat. https://citybiblechurch.churchcenter.com/registrations/registrations/36097273

You may consider printing a copy of the directions, as cellular service may get a little spotty past Nevada City. Registration is full and closed. If you did not register but arrive to the retreat we will, unfortunately, have to turn you away. Del Oro is not able to accommodate any additional guests.

Check-In

When you arrive to Del Oro, park your car and head directly to the Activity Center to check in. The check-in table will be open on Thursday from 3 pm to 6 pm. If you arrive after 6 pm, late check-in will be available after the evening session (around 9pm).

At the check-in table you will receive your name tag and room assignment. If you wish to share a room or cabin with someone, be advised that these will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. Arriving together will increase the chance of availability.

Car Pool & Free Time

We have designated 1 pm to 6 pm on Friday as “Free Time” for you to engage with other men over your shared interests or hobbies. While there is no set structure for this time, we encourage you to connect with the other attendees before the retreat if you would like to plan activities or go off-site. In prior years, we have seen everything from chess and baseball to off-roading and target shooting. We also encourage you to carpool if at all possible, since some of the best conversation happens on the way to and from these types of events.
